The Utraquists ("Both-kinders") were moderate followers of Jan Hus, who maintained that the Eucharist should be administered to the people in both kinds, i.e., as both bread and wine. Their emblem was the chalice. They were also known as the Prague Party or the Calixtenes, in opposition to the radical element, or Taborites.
