United and uniting churches are churches that bring together (or unite) different (predominantly) Protestant denominations in one organisation.

A example is found in Germany, where the Evangelical Church in Germany is a federation of Lutheran, Reformed, and other Protestant confessions. They form a united body to be more present in the media, more powerful as a group in relation to government, and simply as a means of efficient organisation and cooperation.
