Rachael Maureen Lampa is a female American singer, born January 8, 1985 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was discovered at a Christian seminar at 14.

Childhood

Rachael has been singing since in diapers, and was able to sing perfect harmony by age four. Singing too loud at the dinner table got her sent to her room more than once. Rachael has performed at The Jenny Jones Show Young Talent Search at age 12 and finished 2nd place at the World Championship of Entertainment. She also performed many times at the Colorado Rockies baseball games.

Rachael was discovered at a music conference in Colorado at 14 by Word Records producers Brown Bannister and Brent Bourgeois. Her debut album, Live For You released a



year later in 2000.

  • Live For You, released in 2000, produced by Brown Bannister and Brent Bourgeois included a broad range of pop and gospel music.
  • Kaleidoscope released in 2002, was produced by Brent Bourgeois and covered mainly pop/urban music with a hint of soul and gospel.
  • Blur also released in 2002. It was a remix album that included songs from Live For You and Kaleidoscope and added dance, pop and hip-hop grooves to the tracks.
  • Rachael Lampa was released in 2004 and was produced by Tommy Sims. It ran through genres from pop to rock, funk to contemporary, ska and everything in between.
