The Psalms of Solomon are a group of eighteen deuterocanonical psalms (religious songs or poems) accepted by most Orthodox Christians, but rejected as apocryphal by Jews, Catholics and Protestants. They are found in Greek translation from a lost Hebrew or Aramaic original, probably dating from the first or second century BCE. They are distinct from - but may be modeled after or derived from - the psalms of the Jewish and Christian Bibles.
