The Presbyterian Church of Eastern Australia (PCEA) is a denomination is known for its worship practice of exclusive psalmody, as opposed to the mainline Presbyterian Church of Australia.

1843 Disruption

The PCEA shares a similar history as the Free Church of Scotland. Both trace their separation from the mainline church to the 1843 Disruption.
