The Congregational Federation of Australia is congregational demonination comprising of fourteen congregations in New South Wales and Queensland. It has sixteen ordained ministers and some two thousand members and adherents, many of them Samoans.

History

Fourty congregations of the Congregational Union of Australia decided not to join the Uniting Church in Australia in 1977, and formed the Fellowship of Congregational Churches.

In July 1995 the ecumenically minded congregations left the Fellowship of Congregational Churches because of its conservative and non-ecumenically orientation and formed the Congregational Federation of Australia.
